Why Laboratoria?
The name started as Laboratorio del Oriente, inspired by my family’s generational businesses and the legacy from both my mom’s and dad’s sides.
Over time, Laboratoria felt right on its own.
It represents the way I create: a little crazy, a little chaotic, very creative, but always guided by an organized mind and a clear, transparent process.
That is Laboratoria: creativity with structure, a lot of ideas, and heart.
I am very happy to make this project come true with a lot of hard work and trying to show you that design and great ideas can be in your home.

Hi, I’m Natalia Juan Díaz, architect, designer, and founder of Laboratoria.
I’m from Sinaloa, Mexico, and I’m building this as my own creative project, while collaborating with talented colleagues and an amazing design team in Mexico.
At Laboratoria, we design interiors room by room and custom furniture piece by piece, moving at your pace every step of the way.
My goal is simple: to make thoughtful interior design and cool furniture feel more accessible, because we all deserve beautiful pieces and inspiring rooms at home.
